Screen Printing Suppliers
If you get into screen printing, you're going to need to find a few good wholesale suppliers to purchase your supplies from. You'll need to purchase things like ink, emulsion, screens, squeegees, scoop coaters, etc. so you'll need to set up accounts with a few good suppliers. Setting up an account is usually as simple as making a phone call. The following is a list of screen printing suppliers that we deal with on a fairly regular basis and have found to be quite easy to work with. A lot of you have been asking about a source for good screens. These days we mostly buy ours from GM Graphics and Pocono Screen. I use wood screens almost exclusively, and it's hard to go wrong with either of these two company's wood screens. The GM Graphics wood screen is especially nice with its rounded corners. Both are made from poplar. I use mostly Union and Rutland inks that I purchase from Tex Source. They'll custom mix the Rutland inks to any Pantone color at no charge. I purchase my squeegees, scoop coaters, screen tape, and emulsion from Victory Factory. I use mostly Ulano Proclaim emulsion as it's solvent resistant so I can use it for decals as well as shirts. We print our Knight MFG press decals using this emulsion. Proclaim also has a very wide exposure latitude making it easy/forgiving to expose.
