Knight Mfg is a small welding and fabricating shop owned and operated by Jamie (not Jaime) Knight.  I started welding back in 1995 while I was taking some machine tool courses at Piedmont Technical College.  I owned and operated a BMX bicycle shop at the time (1991 to 2003) and realized I could start making a lot of the shops' fixtures myself such as work benches, bicycle and skateboard display racks, merchandisers, etc., at a substantial savings over purchasing them or having the work done at local welding shops.  There isn't a lot of money in bicycle retailing, and you're forced to be as self-sufficient as possible.  I really enjoyed fabricating stuff and having the ability to design and make things the way I wanted them, and I ended up with one of the coolest shop setups in my area.  In 2003, I closed the bike shop and started screen printing, building all of my own equipment.  Since I was working from home, I needed small compact equipment that I could put away when I was done using it, but that was capable of doing more than just one color work.  Over the next couple of years I refined the equipment I was using to the point where I started selling presses on ebay.  That led to doing the website.  Then around 2009, I added the model rocket launch pads which was met with immediate success.  I had no idea that would "take off" the way that it did but it has been a nice addition to the product line.  I currently offer seven models of model rocket launch pads capable of handling anything from small mini engine rockets right up to the big high power stuff that I personally can't afford to fly.  Starting around 2016, I added the horshshoe stake holders and those have done well, satisfying many a horseshoe pitcher.  And everything I make is built to last with great pride in workmanship so as to provide many years of service to its owner.  This is solidly built, welding shop made stuff.  Take a look at everything on the product pages.
